Star Trek: Into Darkness - Review
Hello,
Just watched Star Trek: Into Darkness AGAIN and am still loving it!
Great movie overall - Director JJ Abrams doesn’t seem to like to give the audience time to relax; in a good way. I guess the surprises, shocks and action constantly going on ensures that the audience is engaged throughout the movie or they miss out on important bits of the story.
There were a lot of close up FACE shots - there is a part where the bad guy (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) has a monologue and half the screen has his face RIGHT IN IT. It is a very nice face and it does show us the emotions that are going through him while he’s doing all his bad-guy mean-things. And because of all the close up face shots, we also get to see how clean shaven and well groomed all the male star fleet officers are and how perfectly shaped all the ladies eyebrows are.
